In Brawl Stars, “Underdog” is a special status for players facing stronger opponents in 3v3 modes. This status helps balance the game by adjusting trophy gains and losses. If you lose, you lose fewer trophies; if you win, you gain more.
Underdog status is given in two scenarios. First, when a solo player is teamed with two others who have a trophy difference of 150 or more. This aims to make the match fairer for the solo player.
Second, if your team’s average trophy count is 150 or more lower than the opponent’s team. This ensures that even if the teams seem mismatched, you have a fighting chance.
This feature makes the game more enjoyable and competitive. It gives weaker teams a better chance and keeps matches interesting for everyone involved.
