To open a new area in Gardenscapes, start by completing tasks in the current area. This usually takes 3-5 game days. By finishing tasks, you restore the area to its former beauty and earn stars by beating levels.
Next, use the stars you’ve earned to unlock new areas. Each task can take up to 5 stars. If you’re in a hurry, you can use coins to speed up some tasks.
After restoring the Picnic area and unlocking the second expansion, you can access the map. Tap or click the map icon in the bottom left corner of the screen to switch between different parts of the garden.
To switch to a new area, simply tap or click the icon of the expansion you want to explore. Austin’s icon will move there, showing your current location.
