To enable voice chat on Roblox, start by ensuring you are at least 13 years old. Next, go to your settings by clicking the gear icon in the top right corner. If you are 13 or older, verify your age using a government-issued ID. This will give you immediate access to voice chat.
If you don’t have an ID, you can verify your email address and phone number. This method works in a few countries and may take a few days to activate. After verifying your age or using the alternative method, go to the privacy tab and toggle the microphone input to enable voice chat.
Once enabled, join games that support voice chat. These games will be labeled as “Voice Enabled” in the discover tab. Make sure to check the privacy tab regularly if you are using the alternative method, as Roblox does not notify you when voice chat becomes available.
